SPECIAL BICENTENNIAL NATIONAL DAY PERFORMANCE BY JAMIYAH’S ECE

A special bicentennial performance was prepared by Jamiyah pre-schoolers to celebrate Singapore’s 54th Birthday. As part of Jamiyah Early Childhood Education Centre’s Annual National Day Observance (NDO) ceremony, the children from Jamiyah Early Childhood Education Centres put up a special performance by portraying five Singapore pioneers in four lively and colourful acts: Sang Nila Utama, Sir Stamford Raffles, Tan Tock Seng, Munshi Abdullah and Naraina Pillai. They shared what they have learned about the pioneers’ contributions to Singapore’s development and progress.

Gracing the event was Mr Lim Biow Chuan, Deputy Speaker of Parliament and MP for Mountbatten SMC. Congrats and a good job to the pre-schoolers of Jamiyah Early Childhood Centres on their spectacular performances and also a very Happy National Day to all!
