Job Scope

  • Carrying out preventive and curative medical services in the Old Age Home
  • Dispense Medication to the residents and record in individual resident medication
  • Refer residents for medical examination
  • Scree, treat and provide nursing care to the residents

Requirements

  • Degree in Nursing preferably with Gerontology Nursing Certificate
  • Registered with SNB
  • Provide clear instruction to Nursing Aides and supervise

Job Scope

  • Assist therapist to conduct PT/OT programmes.
  • Assist in conducting activities or adjust activities programmed by the therapist.
  • Take note of residents’ progress and report progress to therapist / Nursing Officer via oral /written reports.
  • Assist to carry out habilitative and rehabilitative work-orientated programmes.

Requirements

  • Minimum Diploma or Degree in Therapy support, community care and services or any other related fields.
  • 1 -2 years of related experience
  • Incumbent must be confident of transfer techniques, such as lift and transfer resident from bed to wheelchair, wheelchair to chair, etc.

Job Scope

  • Responsible for Resident’s Individual care plan and manages Psycho-social and economic aspects of care of the residents.
  • Co-ordinates services for the residents through case management approach
  • Address psychological needs of the residents through care and counselling
  • Ensure compliance with admission procedures and enlighten the resident on the rules of the Home and SOPs and service standards as prescribed by MSF

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Social work
  • Working experience with elderly and similar disadvantaged group
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of the team looking into the well-being of the resident

Job Scope:

  • Deliver comprehensive casework and counselling interventions to support clients and their families.
  • Conduct thorough needs assessments and develop tailored Individual Service Plans (ISPs) that address unique client circumstances.
  • Facilitate information and referral services, ensuring clients and families are connected to appropriate community resources.
  • Ensure that the halfway house programme aligns with the mission, objectives, and established case management protocols.
  • Provide support for Jamiyah Singapore and Halfway House events.
  • Maintain case files in accordance with audit requirements and regulatory standards.
  • Achieve targeted outcomes in employment, education, and accommodation domains.
  • Comply with the minimum service requirements (MSR) for HSM case file audits.

 

Requirements:

  • Hold a degree in Social Work or Psychology, or be recognized as an Accredited Social Worker or Accredited Social Service Practitioner.
  • Possess approximately 2 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Provide support for Jamiyah Singapore and Jamiyah home for the Aged events.
Jamiyah Kindergarten

Job Scope:

  • Maintain a safe, hygienic, and nurturing environment for children by adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Plan and implement developmentally appropriate learning aligned with the kindergarten’s philosophy for children aged 3 years to 6 years.
  • Observe, document, and assess children’s learning and development, keeping families informed and involved in the planning process.
  • Reflect, evaluate, and refine teaching approaches to meet each child’s individual needs.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to design and deliver engaging and meaningful learning experiences.
  • Create responsive and respectful learning environments that cater to children’s interests, abilities, and temperaments.
  • Build strong partnerships with families by sharing relevant information and resources to support continuity between home and centre.
  • Engage with community partners to enhance services for children and families.
  • Contribute to the centre’s quality assurance efforts, including SPARK accreditation and licensing compliance.

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education or an equivalent qualification recognized by ECDA.
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience working with young children.
  • Sound knowledge of current early childhood development theories, research, and best practices.
  • Strong teamwork, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Knowledgeable about ECDA’s policies, regulations, and quality assurance frameworks.
  • Provide support for Jamiyah Singapore and Jamiyah Kindergarten events.

  • Collaborate with learning support teams to enhance language acquisition and literacy skills.
  • Utilize tailored observation and documentation methods to monitor progress in cognitive, social, and physical domains aligned with developmental milestones.
  • Adapt teaching materials and strategies to cater to diverse learning needs and interests.
  • Strengthen language proficiency through interactive shared, buddy, and individual reading sessions incorporating songs, music, and movement.
  • Design engaging, play-based language activities that promote respect, responsiveness, and reciprocity per established early childhood theories.
  • Build robust family partnerships via timely communication and resource sharing to ensure continuity of language development between centre and home.
  • Work collaboratively with programme and non-programme staff to uphold high standards for SPARK accreditation and address children’s needs

 

Requirements:

  • Certificate in Preschool Mother Tongue Language (CPMRL), Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education or an equivalent ECDA-recognized qualification.
  • Minimum three GCE ‘O’ Level credits, with at least a B4 in Malay and a C6 in English.
  • At least two years of relevant experience with young children.
  • Strong understanding of current early childhood development theories and practices.
  • Excellent teamwork, interpersonal, and communication skills.
