The basic of community service is feeding the poor. Jamiyah Welfare Department issues free dry rations for the needy.
Jamiyah’s panel of volunteer lawyers provides legal advice and counseling to clients of all races on matters of family disputes, matrimonial, division of property etc.
Opened in 1975, the free clinic is administered by a team of volunteer doctors and nurses.
The centre provides a wide range of secular counseling as well as counseling based on syariah laws and procedures, therapeutic and educational services in a culturally sensitive and safe environment.
Jamiyah Singapore’s FoodBank remains at the heart of our food support efforts but to bring help even closer to families.
Women volunteers play a key role in the service programmes of Jamiyah. The Section takes an active part in welfare and da’wa related activities such as the annual Exemplary Mother Award function.
