Darul Ma'wa or Jamiyah Children's Home
was set up to provide holistic residential
care for orphans and less fortunate children.
Darul Takrim
Darul Takrim or Jamiyah Home for the
Aged was set up to demonstrate our
concern and compassion for destitute
elders in the evening of their lives, without
differenting on the basis of race, religious
or language.
Darul Syifaa'
Darul Syifaa' or Jamiyah Nursing Home is
logical complement of Darul Takrim, the
Jamiyah Home for the Aged.
Darul Islah
Darul Islah or Jamiyah Halfway House
provides a residential programme for
recovering drug addicts at Drug
Rehabilitation Centres reffered by the
Prison Department. -

The centre provides a wide range of counselling, therapeutic and educational services in a culturally sensitive and safe environment.
Legal Clinic
The Legal Clinic(1976) is the first clinic run by volunteer lawyers in Singapore. It has an impressive multiracial array of professionals in the field and was set up in the early 70s shortly after the Medical Clinic was opened.

Medical Clinic
The Medical Clinic (1975) is also opened to the public three times per week . It provides free medicine and consultation in addition to conducting medical exhibitions, talks and providing circumcision during school holidays.

Jamiyah has been a registration centre for
those wishing to embrace Islamic out of their own free will.
Zakat
Zakat (Purifying Tax) Muslim members of the
public from time to time do come forward to
contribute their zakat to Jamiyah which is
also a registered centre for zakat fitrah.As
far as zakat is concerned Jamiyah's work
embraces all the categories of beneficiaries.
Zakat and charitable donations called
sadaqah are part of the normal sources of
income for Jamiyah.

Visitors from Malaysia Pergerakan Pemuda UMNO Malaysia Bahagian Tangga Batu, Melaka, Unit BIRO Agama |
| Jamiyah Singapore greeted the arrival of the delegates from ‘Pergerakan Pemuda UMNO Malaysia‘, on Friday 24th April 2009. Mr Mohd Noor Mohd Said, on behalf of Jamiyah Singapore opened the ceremony with a few words of welcome to the delegates, headed by Ustaz Johari Yusoff, Director, Rumahku-Syurgaku, Bahagian Tangga Batu Melaka, Unit BIRO Agama. Mr Mohd Noor introduced the panel from Jamiyah Singapore, consisting President, Haji Abu Bakar Maidin and Jamiyah officials, Mr Karim Maidin, Mr Ismail Roziz, Mr Jaafar Majori, Mr Shariff Yahya, Mr Hasbi Abu Bakar, Mr Yahya Said, Mr H M Saleem, and Mr Mohd Hosni Abdul Malik. Both parties exchanged greetings and Ustaz Johari Yusoff proceeded to introduce his team members and expressed his appreciation for the warm welcome from Jamiyah Singapore. He expressed his wish that we could continue to advance and prosper the Malay and the Islamic programmes for the benefit of all. The lunch reception that followed also included a frutiful exchange consisting of a Question and Answer session on both organisations’ activities as well as Jamiyah Singapore’s future plans. The session ended with a closing Do’a by Imam Yakub Yusuf Vadia followed by an exchange of tokens between the President of Jamiyah Singapore, Haji Abu Bakar Maidin and Ustaz Johari Yusoff, the Team Head and Director, Rumahku-Syurgaku, Pergerakan Pemuda UMNO. |
