Driver

  • To send and fetch children from home to school
  • To assist in collection from donors
  • Transport products, materials, and staff securely to areas where they are needed
  • Ensure that vehicles are kept clean at all times
  • GCE ‘N’, ‘O’ level, Higher Nitec or NITEC
  •  Have a valid class 4 license vocational driving license with clean driving record
  • Must be physically and mentally fit

Physiotherapist

  • Implement rehabilitation programmes and advice on preventive measures
  • Perform thorough assessments and design individualised treatment plans that may incorporate manual therapy, exercises and/or the use of electro physical modalities to optimise recovery
  • Document patients’ assessments and daily treatments, treatment plans/goals, case notes and reports
  • Perform a full range of physiotherapy treatment/services to promote health and well-being
  • Degree in relevant field
  • Should be a member of the Singapore Physiotherapy Association

Staff Nurse

  • Location: Jamiyah Nursing Home (Darul Syifaa) – 130 West Coast Drive S(127444)
  • Location: Jamiyah Home for The Aged (Darul Takrim) – 1 Tampines Ave 3, Singapore 529707
  • Working Hours: 2 Rotating Shifts
  • Plays a central role in providing nursing care to residents in the Home.
  • Supervision of nursing aides and foreign workers in their daily duties.
  • Identifies patient care requirements by establishing personal rapport with potential and actual patients and other persons in a position to understand care requirements.
  • Assures quality of care by adhering to therapeutic standards
    • Measuring health outcomes against patient care goals and standards
    • Making or recommending necessary adjustments
    • Following hospital and nursing division’s philosophies and standards of care set by state board of nursing, state nurse practice act

Therapy Aide

  • Distribute materials to patients for use in treatment activities
  • Clear worktables following treatment
  • Replenish storage cabinets or worktables in treatment on or off treatment area with supplies and materials
  • Provide support to patients transferring on or off treatment tables in therapy
  • At least GCE ‘N’ Levels, or equivalent
  • Therapy Assistant Certification accreditation or relevant experience would be an advantage

Senior Care Associate

  • Perform basic care functions such as toiletry assistance, bathing, dressing, grooming, eating and drinking as directed and supervised by Registered Nurse, following documented care plan
  • Assist in transferring residents who may have problems with mobility using appropriate transfer and ‘lifting’ techniques
  • Assist residents with the individualised care program by participating in supervised ‘specific’ procedures relating to resident care as instructed by the Registered Nurse (e.g., including tube feeding, simple wound care, instillation of eye drops and application of topical creams etc.).
  • Responsible in assisting patients who are unable to look after themselves, assessing/monitoring their conditions.
  • At least ‘O’ Level
  • 2-5 years relevant working experience
  • Able to work on 2-day shifts
  • Observant and ability to pre-empt when situations get out of hand.
  • Initiative to conduct innovative activities for residents

Case Worker

  • Assesses clients/family factors to estimate capacity of physical and financial needs
  • Provides counseling services as applicable and assists in utilizing community resources
  • Evaluates and assists with resident’s financial obligations, assessing appropriate resources and insurance coverage
  • Submits documentation accurately and timely.
  • Updates and maintains resident’s records and charts
  • Assists with discharge planning from centre to homes and nursing homes
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Degree/Diploma in Social Work or in related field
  • Minimum 3 years in varied multidisciplinary settings in the health care field
  • Experience in working with residents and families coping with illness

Social Worker Aide

  • Assist in the implementation of the halfway house’s programme and services and provide administrative support to the counsellors.
  • Assist in planning and conducting activities
  • Prepare letters and necessary documents
  • Collate and maintain necessary data and statistics
  • Maintain clients’ profile database
  • Assist in evaluation of clients’ progress
  • Write minutes of meeting
  • Attend to telephone calls
  • Clerical and administrative support for the counsellors
  • Degree/Diploma in Counselling or Psychology
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
  • Knowledge of basic IT (MS Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint) and basic statistical analysis
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written)
  • At least 3 years of continuous sobriety (applicable to ex-offenders)

Counsellor

  • Working Hours:

  • Conducting a series of individual sessions with a client and assess needs for counselling, build and explore issues
  • Build rapport/trust and explore client’s feelings and behaviour
  • Conduct group sessions with people undergoing therapy in a clinical setting
  • Conduct group sessions in a training capacity for client and  other professionals group, such as social workers and health care, who are interested in learning more about how groups work and how they function within them
  • Degree/Diploma in Social Work or in related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience

Personal Care Officer

  • Responsible for safe custody of residents of the Home and perform other resident related duties such as, attend to any complaints by residents, report condition changes in residents without delay.
