Hajjah Fatimah Muzaffar visits Jamiyah Singapore

Hajjah Fatimah Muzaffar, a motivational speaker from Chennai, India visited Jamiyah HQ on Wednesday, 29th November 2017.

She was welcomed to Jamiyah by Dr H M Saleem, VP-I, Dr Isa Hassan, VP-II, Ust Rafiuddin Ismail, Secretary General , Mr. Fakrudeen, Treasurer , Prof Hussin Mutalib, Senior Director ( Special Duties ) and other officials of Jamiyah were present at the occasion. Also present at the occasion were Indian Muslim community leaders such as Dr K.M.Deen, Jamiyah Exco Member Mr Seeni Jafar Ghani and others . Hajjah Fatimah Muzaffar, whose grandfather Al Marhum Moulana A.K.Abdul Hameed Baqavi was the first translator of Holy Quraan in Tamil language which is acclaimed as one of the most authentic Tamil translations of the Holy book in Tamil.

Hajjah Fatimah shared her views on the need for intensifying our efforts towards empowerment of Muslim women and youth, guide and lead them to stay clear of distractions that modern communication technologies offer. She was briefed of the service mission of Jamiyah Singapore and was presented copies of Jamiyah’s reading materials including the 85th Anniversary special issue of Voice of Islam. Hajjah Fatimah was accompanied by her husband Haji Muzaffar Ahmed.
