Fees Structure

• One month deposit  = (full fee before subsidy)

Children (infant & childcare programme), on admission will be given one month to adjust to the Centre. The deposit will not be forfeited for withdrawal during this period.

Payment of Fees
All fees must be paid by the 7th of each month. A late payment fine of $5.00 will be imposed for the payment made after this date. This is applicable also during weekends, public holidays and/or when the child is absent.

There would be additional charges such as speech and drama, enrichment programmes etc. These programmes are optional. Parents will be informed of these charges.

Inter bank GIRO is the preferred method of payment. Discounts will be given for payments via IBG.

All cheque payment which should be crossed and made payableto: ‘JAMIYAH SINGAPORE’

Cash payment should be handed personally to the staff. GLOBAL CDC shall not be responsible for any cash lost by the child.

There will be no refund in fees, or part thereof, if the child falls ill during the month or is kept home, or is away from CDC. Parents will have to pay the full CDC fee if they wish to retain a place for their child, regardless of the child’s attendance at the CDC. There will be no reduction in fees when the child is absent.

Students will be suspended from the Centre should they fail to pay the fees by for more than 2 months.

Withdrawal
Parents who wish to withdraw their child from CDC must give one month notice in writing. Upon signing the withdrawal form, the last day of stay in CDC will be on the final day of the subsequent month. (E.g. If the withdrawal form is signed on the 7th April, the last day of stay will be on 31st May). Parents who wish to withdraw their child during the trial period must give two weeks notice in writing.

All outstanding fees must be settled in full prior to withdrawal. Otherwise there would not be any refund of deposit.

The CDC reserves the right to withdraw the child from the CDC is it deems to be for the interest of the child and the CDC. However, one month’s notice will be given to parent.

Registration Procedures
Instructions to Parents:
For administration purposes, the following documents must be submitted upon registration:-

1. Child’s Birth Certificate
2. Parents NRIC, Entry/Re-Entry Permit of Passport for PR
3. Parents’ Marriage Certificate
4. For Single Parent –Divorce/separation/death documents
5. Immunization papers -measles, triple antigen & BCG
6. Both parents’ current pay slip or letters of employment stating employment status, income and designation of the parent.
7. One recent passport size photograph of the following:-

• Child
• Both parents
• Two authorised person who will be fetching the child (if any)

NOTE:originals of the documents should not be forwarded but must be produced upon request.

Fee Subsidy
Parents who wish to apply for government subsidy MUST meet ALL the following criteria:-

1. At least one parent must be a Singapore citizen or PR
2. The child attending GLOBAL CDC must be:-
   • A Singapore citizen or PR
   • Age between 2 months to below 7 years
   • The mother’s first to fourth child
3. The family’s net household income is $1500 per month or lower; higher household income will be considered on a case by case basis.
4. Mother/single father is working full time or part time with work of at least 56 hours per month.

Parents are to approach GLOBAL CDC’s staff for application for fee subsidy. Approval for subsidy will be on a case to case basis.

Parents have to certify that all information given is correct and agree to notify the GLOBAL CDC of any change using Form 4. Every false declaration made for the purpose of claiming the subsidy is an offence under Section 182 of the Penal Code.

Levels of maximum fee subsidy to parents are as follows:-
